Indian Christian Orthodox Network

The Indian Christian Orthodox Network (ICON) is a network for members of the Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Church and its well-wishers. Members of this network are scattered around the world. We communicate with each other by email using internet technology.

ICON Objectives:

Discuss issues and concerns about the relevance, policies and procedures, and future of our Church.
Educate ourselves about our faith, traditions and heritage through questions, answers and explanations.
Share Church news of general interest.
Disseminate information about activities with focus on charity and missionary works.
Reach out to individuals who are not "traditional" members of our Church either by choice or due to other reasons, including lack of parishes within proximity.
Make a positive presence in the CYBERSPACE.
Encourage all parishes and Church organizations to have its presence on the INTERNET through own websites.
Profit from the fellowship of a community of believers.
Familiarize and learn to discern between the belief systems of Orthodox Christians of Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox traditions.

Who can be a part of ICON?

Anybody who belongs to the Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Church or its well-wisher can be a member of this network. We encourage all St. Thomas Christians to join this network.
